Please note we are an appointment-based clinic. All services including any equipment pick up or sales are by appointment only. In consideration of our administrative team’s capacity, we do not presently allow for walk-ins.

If you are available on short notice, we encourage you to book an appointment and also put yourself on the waitlist! We prioritize urgent hand therapy assessments with physician or surgeon referrals.

If you are specifically wishing to see Nicole in an in-clinic appointment, we encourage you to first book an online tele-health session for quicker access to treatment. These appointments are bookable online.

Please be advised that our annual rate adjustment occurs every year. Rate increases are made following association guidelines and allow us to continue to provide excellent quality specialized hand therapy care in our locally-owned small business.

Practitioner rates are scaled based on expertise with complex clinical presentations. More complex cases may be transferred to more experienced practitioners where their specific expertise is required for splinting or treatment. Detailed fees are listed below and on each appointment. Direct time with your practitioner will be 1:1. Indirect care includes charting, room cleaning & prep, and review of reports and imaging. Specialty equipment and supplies are charged in addition to practitioner fees.

Alicia is a French-Canadian Occupational Therapist with a scientific background and a passion for specialized hand therapy. Originally from Québec, she earned her Bachelor of Medical Biology in 2015, followed by her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2024. This unique academic path allows her to bridge the gap between the science of tissue healing and the “human” side of rehabilitation.

Before settling on Vancouver Island, Alicia lived in Scotland for several years—an experience that shaped her adaptability and broadened her perspective on health and community. She brings these qualities into her practice with warmth, curiosity, and a focus on building strong therapeutic relationships.

Alicia has a particular interest in the complexity of upper extremity rehabilitation. Having worked in a hospital hand therapy setting, she gained valuable experience with post-surgical cases and custom splinting. Currently working toward becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), she values evidence-based, individualized care. Alicia ensures her patients feel empowered throughout their recovery, whether they are returning to a specialized trade, a favorite sport, or daily essentials.

Outside the clinic, Alicia is an avid outdoors enthusiast. You can find her snowboarding, dirt biking, hiking, paddle boarding or trail running —often accompanied by a dog whenever possible. For Alicia, staying active is the foundation of living fully, a philosophy she shares with every patient she treats.

Born and raised in Victoria, Renee is glad to work in the community she has always called home. She completed her Master of Occupational Therapy at Western University, where she built a strong foundation in upper extremity rehabilitation.

Renee has experience working in pediatrics, supporting children in developing a wide range of occupational skills, including fine motor abilities. She strives to meet each client where they are, taking time to understand what is most important to them and tailoring therapy to reflect their goals, interests, and stage of readiness—an approach that continues to guide her work with clients of all ages.

Now practicing in hand therapy, Renee is excited to deepen her expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation. During her master’s program, she completed training in custom orthosis fabrication and discovered an appreciation for the balance of precision and creativity involved in splint design. Her personal interest in pottery and crafting complements the skills needed to create custom orthoses.

Renee recognizes that physical recovery is closely connected to emotional wellbeing, environment, and mindset. With experience in acute care and outpatient mental health, she considers not only the injury itself, but also each person’s stressors, routines, motivations, and support systems. She aims to create a supportive and collaborative space where clients feel understood and empowered in their rehabilitation.

Outside of the clinic, Renee enjoys spending time in nature, playing volleyball, and cooking for friends and family!
